PUMPS
TO DISPENSE DRUMS

MODEL P26, P27, P28 Series DRUM HAND PUMP
  • Double-action piston pump
  • Self priming
  • Delivers on the forward and the back stroke
  • Less than five cycles yields a gallon (3.8 1)
  • All P26, P27, P28 series pumps are made in the same style and have the same action
  • Pumps differ in their materials of construction
  • Each pump model is constructed using specific polymers and elastomers for resistance to certain types of chemicals
  • Can be used for chemically compatible liquids at temperatures up to 80° F (26° C)
  • Viscosity of the liquid should not exceed 2,000 SSU. (about as thick as 40 weight motor oil at room temperature). Handle effort increases as viscosity approaches this maximum
  • Model series P26 and P27 are generally useful with compatible liquids in a mild acidity/alkalinity range of pH 4-9. Avoid stronger acids and caustics with P26 and P27 series
  • Model P28-pumps are useful in a wider pH range.
  • Many other chemical characteristics effect the choice of pumps

CHEMICAL COMPATIBILITY OF A PUMP SHOULD BE CHECKED FOR EACH LIQUID BY CHEMICAL NAME. No one pump can be universally chemical resistant. Some blends of chemicals may not be suitable for any of these pumps. Several different models may be necessary for several drums of different liquids.
