BUILT-IN HYDRAULIC SYSTEM POSITIONS DRUMS QUICKLY AND EASILY FOR ROTATION

Morse developed the basic concept to provide easier "Hands-off" drum handling and mixing. The special benefit of mixing materials inside a closed drum without manual effort is now further enhanced.

  • Model P456 accepts the drum upright
  • User controls the hydraulic tilting action that puts the drum down on the rotator wheels
  • Second valve allows the user to start and stop hydraulic motor that drives rotation
  • Various size drums with up to 1,000 Lb. (454 kg) of liquid can be rolled at nominal speeds in a range of 5 to 20 RPM
  • Available with a choice of electric motors
  • Also available with air motor as model P456-A
  • Accepts a loaded 55 gallon steel drum from a standing position
  • Moves drum hydraulically to horizontal
  • Rotates the drum until contents are mixed as desired
  • Selector switch and on-off buttons control the motors
  • Single valve controls the hydraulic tilter for positioning the drum on the Rotator

  • Morse Model P160 4-wheel drum hand truck provides a simple means to deliver and remove drums
  • Ability to load Model P456 with Morse P90 Verti-Karrier or Model P288 Morspeed Fork Truck attachment

Install Morse Rotators in accordance with OSHA requirements for enclosure and interlock, etc. For OSHA compliance, see OSHA subpart O.1910.212 "General requirements for all machines." Power connections and motor controls must comply with applicable codes.
